Inspired by the haunting landscapes of Waterton Lakes National Park, SOFA MTN. is a gripping horror-drama about the families we choose, the trauma we carry, and the terrifying cost of truly being seen. At its heart, it is a deeply human story about two broken souls who form an unlikely bond—just as they are targeted by a relentless, psychological presence that feeds on isolation.

When a local crisis forces an estranged town cop and a vulnerable, invisible teenager together, neither is looking for a family. Yet, a single act of belief sparks an unconventional father-son bond built on survival and quiet, human moments. But as they begin to piece their lives back together, they realize they are being hunted.

This isn't a traditional monster story. The entity tracking them is an adaptive intelligence that studies its prey, mirroring their deepest wounds and exploiting the very spaces between people.

SOFA MTN. uses the supernatural not to distract from its emotional core, but to pressure-test it. It asks a powerful question: can human connection survive when hunted by an entity designed to use our own vulnerabilities against us?
