THE ALARM is Dharshan Abraham’s debut feature film as writer, director, and producer. As his first feature, Dharshan is pushing the boundaries of cinema and storytelling, shattering conventional understandings of story, image, sound, and color. With a runtime of 100 minutes, the film immerses viewers in a visceral experience that challenges them to confront a deeply unsettling question: Are you truly living?

The logline: 7 AM. He was ready by midnight.

Filmed entirely in Calgary, Alberta, THE ALARM unfolds in one location with one actor over the course of a single night, creating an intense and intimate cinematic experience.
